My art is a living conversation between color, texture, and intuition. I work primarily with watercolor, ink and acrylic, each medium bringing its own life to the process. Watercolor, in particular, feels like the true artist—fluid and unpredictable—and I simply guide it along. The surprise of each new stroke, the way the water shifts and takes on a life of its own, makes every piece an adventure.

My practice is rooted in daily drawing, capturing the essence of the world around me. Whether it's a giant clove of garlic or a building, I find beauty in the ordinary and translate it into my work. I enjoy combining materials and exploring the unique qualities of each medium, often blending realistic and cartoon-like elements to create a harmonious balance that reflects the subject's essence.

I cannot commit fully to a single style; instead, I embrace the fluidity of my approach. My work is a blend of planned and improvisational techniques, often inspired by spontaneous moments of inspiration. I prefer working with color rather than black and white, as it allows me to convey the vibrancy and energy of my subjects. Though capable of photorealism, I choose to represent my subjects with a more authentic and innocent perspective, capturing their essence without the filter of realism. This approach allows me to maintain a sense of wonder and discovery in my work, much like how a child sees the world.

Looking ahead, I plan to incorporate acrylics into my practice and continue exploring new ways to combine materials. My goal is to deepen my connection with my art and inspire others to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. I dream of creating murals, illustrating books, and transforming public spaces into magical environments where art, creativity, and community can thrive.

At its core, my art is about connection—connecting with myself,  the viewer, and the world in a way that celebrates the unexpected. My hope is that my work can inspire others to embrace their own creative journeys and find beauty in the moments they might otherwise overlook.
